Hint:
A “single item” can be several pages stapled together. The
first single item (up to 200 pieces) is $10, the second,
etc, will be $5 so you’ll get more bang for your buck if
you figure out a way to combine your handouts. A single 3D
item such as a pencil or pen, will be $5 for up to 200
pieces.

Here’s a bit more info on the “goodie bags” to be handed
out at the New Mexico Library Association Conference, April
7-9, 2010. These bags will be handed out to every librarian
who comes to the Book Coop Booth.
*The fee is $10 for the first single item you submit to be
included. That’s $10 for up to 200 pieces of the same
design. Each additional design (up to 200 pieces) will be
$5. Pens, Pencils, other 3D items will be $5 for each 200
items.
If you can’t afford to send 200 pieces, don’t let that stop
you from participating. Sending out 25 is a contact at 25
places you didn’t have before. Consider finding a buddy to
share the cost of printing. A one page handout on both
sides can include at least 4 books and info.
What to include? YOUR NAME AND CONTACT INFORMATION is the
single most important thing. Whatever you do, don’t forget
that. Your book(s) and ISBN’s. Pictures of your covers.
Think creative and eye-catching but think small. Everything
must be able to fit in a 10’x12’ plastic bag. No long
excerpts. Nothing heavy (as in weight, not subject!).
Nothing perishable!
Bookmarks are perfect. So are pencils/pens. A two-sided
single sheet excerpt of your first chapter will give them a
taste of your book.
You may bring items to Sabra at the February 26 or March 19
meetings of the Book Coop or items may be mailed to Sabra
Steinsiek, 3523 Santa Teresa NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120.
