The 2008 New Mexico Book Awards honored Denise Chávez and David Morrell with the Friend of New Mexico Books Awards and Ruthe Francis with the Friend of New Mexico Authors Award.
Award Banquet
The winners will announced at the Book Awards Banquet on November 21 at the MCM Elegante. Tickets are $36 per person for reservations before October 15; after that date tickets are $46 per person.
Award Stickers
Winners and Finalists can order award stickers that can be displayed on your books. They are $15 per 100 stickers plus $8 shipping and tax. The stickers will be available until December 12 or until supplies are exhausted (whichever happens first). Stickers can be ordered online at http://nmbookcoop.com/page5/page107/page107.html.
